Short Professional Bio

 Mindy Flexer is a professional artist and art educator, and a climate activist. She holds a BA from Oberlin, a BFA from University of the Arts, and an MEd in Art from Tyler, and has studied drawing and painting at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and the Art Students League of New York. She has exhibited at Woodmere Art Museum, Cerulean Arts, Art in City Hall, and Artists’ House in Philadelphia, PA, Mary Williams Fine Arts in Boulder, CO, national plein air festivals in PA and MD, and other venues. She has collaborated on climate activism projects with Earth Quaker Action Team, POWER Interfaith, Sunrise, Woodmere Art Museum, and Coleman Library.

·Flexer teaches art and hosts art builds at her studio, the home of Mindy Flexer Art School, where she is committed to givingall kinds of people a place to come together to create art, community, and social change.She has also taught art in public and private schools and as a teaching artist at many venues. She loves sharing her passion for art with people of all ages and walks of life, and believes in the power of art to transform people and communities.
